OUR HISTORY

John's Roast Beef & Seafood has been a landmark in Lynn, MA for nearly half a century.

The journey began in 1974, founded by John Makrakis, who built the reputation for the city's best roast beef. In 1985, the legacy was handed over to George Nikolakopoulos, who purchased the business from John and has since spent decades perfecting every recipe and expanding our commitment to fresh, locally sourced seafood.

Under George's leadership, John's has evolved while staying true to its roots. We've introduced modern favorites like our Signature Poke Bowls while maintaining the rigorous quality standards for our legendary beef and fresh-off-the-boat seafood that made us famous in 1974.
